Short answer: Fraser Valley Asbestos is an independent testing and survey company serving Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Langley and the communities between. We sample, we send to accredited BC laboratories, and we verify clearance after abatement. We do not sell asbestos removal, so no result is worth more to us than any other.

Why Does Independence Matter?

Because a testing company that also sells removal earns more from a positive result. Ours does not, which is the whole point.

When the company holding the sample bag also sells asbestos removal, every positive result is revenue. We chose the other model: Fraser Valley Asbestos provides testing, surveys, and clearance verification only. If your materials are clean, we're delighted to tell you so. A negative result is just as billable to us as a positive one, which is exactly how it should be.

How Local Are We?

The Fraser Valley only. That is what makes one-to-two-day scheduling possible and what lets us know the housing stock here by neighbourhood.
